West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited previously announced a recruitment notification to fill various posts against Advt. no. REC/2023/01. In pursuance of this recruitment, the company has recently conducted a written examination to fill the various posts such as Assistant Manager, Assistant Engineer, Junior Executive, Junior Engineer, Office Executive and Grade III Technicians.
The WBSETCL Exam was conducted on 12 and 13 August 2023 at various examination centres. Now all the candidates who appeared in this exam are eagerly looking for their WBSETCL Exam Results. The results will be announced on the official website of the WBSETCL.
The examination was conducted for a total no. of 198 posts. The eligible candidates filled out the application form from 26 April to 19 May 2023. The final selection of the candidates for these posts will be based on the personal interview which will be conducted after the Written Exam.

The WBSETCL conducted the exam on the same line for all the posts except for the office executive post. The examination was held in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) through online mode. There was a total no. of 100 questions. Each question carried one mark. The question paper was set in 4 parts i.e. Numerical Ability, Domain Knowledge, General English and Bengali/ Nepali Test. No negative marking was there. The time duration was of 90 minutes.
For the WBSETCL Officer Executive posts the exam carried multiple choice questions and was held through online mode. There was a total no. of 100 questions. The paper was made from various subjects such as Reasoning, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, General English, Bengali/ Nepali Tests and Proficiency in MS Word. The time duration was of 90 minutes.

WBSETCL Cutoff Marks
The WBSETCL sets the minimum qualifying marks. To pass a certain level, applicants must acquire these marks. Scoring these marks will be deemed to be qualified for the online test.
