WB SET Admit Card 2022 released at wbcsc.org.in: West Bengal College Service Commission has announced the State Eligibility Test Date. The agency will conduct the exam on 08 January 2023. In compliance with the exam, the agency has released the WB SET 2022 Admit Card. Candidates will be able to download the same from the official website accordingly.
The commission conducts the Eligibility Test of Assistant Professors every year. In the year 2022, the commission is on its way to conducting the 24th State Eligibility Test for the post of Assistant Professor in West Bengal. Online applications for this test were commenced from 16 August to 15 September 2022.
WBCSC will conduct SET (State Eligibility Test) in 33 subjects at selected Test Centres of different Districts of West Bengal. The test is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor in various colleges and universities of West Bengal.

A large number of candidates take the State Eligibility Test every year. The candidate who qualifies for the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor will be eligible for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in West Bengal.
WB TET Examination Scheme – Paper Pattern
- Paper-I will be consisting of 50 objective-type compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, are intended to assess the teaching, and research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. The time of exam will be 09:30 am to 10:30 am. The duration of this test will be 01 Hour.
- Paper II will consist of 100 objective-type compulsory questions, each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. The candidates will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I & Paper – II on the OMR Sheet provided along with the test booklet. The time of this exam will be 11:00 am to 01:00 pm. The duration of this test will be 02 hours.

Qualifying Marks – Minimum Required Marks
Eligibility for West Bengal Assistant Professor will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of SET in aggregate.
In order to be considered for Eligibility for Assistant Professor, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) category/EWS candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories [viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD] and Transgender.

In addition, at the entrance gate of the examination centre, candidates are required to produce a photo identity proof along with the WB SET Admit Card print. A valid photo identity card may be among the following documents:
