Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education’s Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent. Also, the applicants must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language, provided that the provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
Age Limit
As of 01 January 2023, the candidate must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old and no more than 27 (twenty-seven) years old. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes had their upper age restriction relaxed under existing government regulations and decrees.
Applicants from the General Category from West Bengal are required to pay ₹170/- and SC/ST category candidates are required to pay ₹20/- as the application fee.
