About UTET (Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test) – The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) conducts the Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) every year. UTET was started in the year 2011. It is a state-level teacher’s admission test. The aspirants who wish to build their careers in the field of teaching are required to qualify for this exam.
The candidates will get an opportunity to work as a teacher in Uttarakhand’s government schools for Grades 1 to Grade 8. Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) 2022 involves two levels of written examination. Paper-I is for Primary Level school teachers (grades I-V), and Paper-II is for Elementary Level school teachers (grades V-VIII). Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) I and II certificates will now be considered valid for a lifetime instead of seven years. This validity will be deemed to be effective from 11 February 2011. UTET certificate holders can also apply to Uttarakhand Board and get the stamp of life validity on the UTET certificate.
