UPTET 2021 Cancelled Due to Paper Leak, Read Complete News Here

UPTET 2021 Examination has been cancelled by the UP basic Edu board following news of Paper Leak in a whatsapp group. The examination was scheduled to take place on 28 November at all district headquarters of the state.

More than 20 lakh candidates had applied for the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted at several exam centres across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. There had to be two papers in the UPTET 2021 exam. UPTET paper 1 to be conducted from 10 AM to 12:30 PM for primary school teachers for classes 1 to 5. Whereas UPTET 2021 paper 2 is for higher primary school teachers for classes 6 to 8 which was to be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5 PM.

Update on UPTET: After the news of the paper leak came to light, the STF conducted raids across the state. After which many people were caught in Prayagraj, Meerut and Ghaziabad. In this case, UP Meerut STF has arrested 3 people from Shamli and started interrogation. The interrogation of Manish alias Monu, son Devendra Malik, Ravi’s son Vinod Kandhla and Dharmendra’s son Kunwar Pal is going on. Four people have been arrested from Lucknow, 3 from Shamli, 2 from Ayodhya, 1 from Kaushambi and 13 from Prayagraj. (reported by AAJ Tak).

The photocopy of the paper has been recovered from these people by STF. After sharing these papers with the government officials who are conducting the examination, it came to know that these were the question papers of the TET exam scheduled on 28 November. The government has decided to cancel the exam after these circumstances.
