The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) issued the UPSSSC PET Notification 2022 on June 28, 2022. The dates for online registration for UP PET 2022 are from June 28 to July 27, 2022.

The UPSSSC PET performs the Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group B and Group C positions. It is now required to register and apply via PET for different Examinations and jobs within the competence of the UPSSSC, such as secretariat postings etc. This is the 2nd edition of the PET Exam this year.

The Government has begun UPSSSC PET 2022 to simplify the application process for candidates, who no longer need to submit separate applications for different UPSSSC posts. Candidates who pass the Preliminary Eligibility Test will be eligible to sit for the UP Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and other Group B & C post-Mains Exam.

Validity of UP PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test)

The applicants’ PET exam scores will be valid for one year following the release of the results. On the basis of their scores on the Preliminary Test (PET), qualified applicants will be invited to take the main examination for various positions. The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) was administered by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) to simplify the application process for candidates so that they did not have to submit separate applications for different openings.

The candidates who have passed High school or any other equivalent exam from any board, CBSE/ICSE, states through regular/ distance mode or from NIOS before the last date of submission of the application form are eligible for the UPSSSC PET 2022. There is no maximum educational limit for this exam.

Applicant’s age for UPSSSC PET is 18 years or 21 years as of the application date depending on the types of posts and the maximum age limit is 40 years. Applicant must not be born before 01 July 1982 and after 01 July 2004. Age Relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per the state government rules.

2. Check the Advertisements and Notifications Section.
3. Then, look for Advt No. 04/2022 (UPSSSC PET Notification).
4. Download and check the notification for eligibility.
5. Then, click on the Registration Link.
6. Fill in the required information correctly and upload the scanned documents.
7. Complete the payment of the application fee and submit the application form.
8. Finally, take a printout of the application form for further reference.
