Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission has conducted the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022. The examination is conducted at 1900 examination centres in the state including a few in NCR as well.
The examination is the first of a kind being conducted for a state. The Preliminary Eligibility Test is conducted to decide the eligibility of the candidates for upcoming Group C and Group D recruitments. Only the candidates with a valid PET Score will be able to apply for these posts.

The examination for the PET is conducted in two shifts at all examination centres. It was reported that more than 20 lakh candidates had submitted applications for PET 2022.
A few highlights of the examination are as follow
- The Preliminary Exam was an MCQ type OMR Based Exam.
- The question paper carried 100 Questions.
- The Time Duration of the Exam was 02 Hrs. (120 Minutes).
- The Questions Standard of Pre Exam was High School Level.
- 1 Mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There is a Negative Marking of 0.25 (1/4) Marks.

Objection Response Process
At first, the UPSSSC Commission will provided the preliminary Answer Key which gets revised upon responses submitted from the candidates. The candidates concerned can submit the response to objections against the answer key in a format provided by the council up to 7th September 2021.
The candidates have to check the Answer Keys thoroughly and if they feel any of the answers added in the key is incorrect, they can raise objections against the same. This should be done in a format provided by the Commission. A specific time window will be opened for the Objection Submission.
How to Download UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2022
