Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will soon announce the Combined written examination schedule. The previous exam conducted in 2018 was cancelled due to administrative reasons. The candidates for this exam were hoping for the exam to be conducted in 2022 but the commission has not included it in the current calendar. The schedule might be announced separately for the Gram Panchayat Exam.
A total of 1953 posts were to be recruited under this vacancy. In this, 1527 posts were fixed for Gram Panchayat Adhikari (Panchayat Secretary), while 362 posts (Gram Vikas Adhikari) and 64 posts (Samaj Kalyan Prayvekshak) were fixed. In this, 1056 seats were earmarked for General, 484 for OBC, 386 for SC and 27 for ST candidates.
To appear in the UPSSSC Gram Panchayat Exam, the commission will release the UPSSSC GPO, and VDO Admit Card afresh. The candidates will be downloading the same using their application credentials in due time released by the commission.
Exam Date Update
Written Exam dates for VPO, VDO, SWS have been announced. The written exam will be conducted on 26 and 27 June 2023.

In May 2018, the advertisement for the recruitment of Gram Panchayat officers, Gram Vikas Adhikari, and other posts were taken out. Its examination was conducted in December 2018. The results were also released in August 2019. Even after the results were out, the recruitment process was stuck for about 10 months. After the release of the results for these posts in August 2019, the document verification program had been issued several times by the commission.
