UPSC ESE Prelims Cut Off Score (Expected)

upsc ese result

This year there are fewer candidates compared to the previous year. So we can consider a low Cut off comparatively this year for the preliminary examination. As the cut off for a general candidate in 2020 was 238, this year it could be around 230. Although the competition and difficulty of the questions were moderate to high, we still expect the Cut off for the Unreserved candidates to go around 230 for Civil Engineering Candidates.
Cut off for all the streams vary from each other and it tends to stay high for the Mechanical candidates. The previous year, the cut off for Mechanical engineering was 262 out of 500 making it 24 points higher than civil engineering. For Electrical, it was 238 same as Civil. Electronics and Communication witnessed a higher cut-off than Civil and Electrical at 245.

If you have opinions regarding the expected cut-off score, you are welcome to leave a comment here. Our Assumption for the ESE Prelims 2022 Cut off is as below.

Civil Engineering (CE)230225190187
Mechanical Engineering (ME)250249226227
Electrical Engineering (EE)235232201200
