UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2023 to be released for Prelims Exam: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is conducting Combined State / Higher Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2023. The date of the UPPSC PCS Preliminary Exam is not fixed yet. For this, the commission will release a notification on the official website in the upcoming days.

UPPSC released the notification related to the PCS exam on the official website in March. According to this notification, applications were invited for various administrative posts in the state. Along with this, applications were also invited for the posts of Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.) and Range Forest Officer (R.C.F.) under this notification. The application date was from 03 March to 6 April. 173 vacancies in various positions are to be filled in this recruitment drive.
These candidates are to be selected on the basis of the Prelims Test, Main Exam, and Personality Test. The date of the preliminary exam has been announced in the first phase.

Around 7 lakh applications were received for the UPPSC PCS exam. After checking the application forms the commission will issue the UPPSC PCS admit card to all the eligible candidates.
UPPSC PCS / Forest Officer Exam Scheme – Paper Pattern
The competitive examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination, 2023 and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination, 2023 comprise three successive stages viz:-
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choice).
- Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination).
- Viva- Voce (Personality Test).
The Preliminary examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination will consist of two compulsory papers of which the answer sheet be on OMR sheets.
The papers shall be 200 marks each and of two hours durations. Both the papers shall be objective Type & multiple choice in which there shall be 150-100 questions respectively.
The timing of paper I will be from 9.30 to 11.30 A.M. and paper II from 2.30 to 4.30 P.M.
Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of the Preliminary Examination for the purpose of evaluation.
The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.
In the UPPSC PCS Mains Exam, there will be four parts in the paper i.e. General Hindi, Essay and General Studies
- Papers Shall be Conventional type.
- Candidates will be given three hours time to solve the papers.
- For optional Question papers, 03:00 hours time is allowed.
- Each optional question paper will be 200 marks.

UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2023 – Call Letter Details & Instructions
The commission has released the UPPSC PCS Admit Card in online mode only. Board will not send any admit card to the aspirant’s address. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by using the application registration number and password.
The Admit card will comprise important details including the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, allotted roll number and examination centre name along with the timing of the exam. Candidates must check the UPPSC PCS Admit Card properly.
The candidates are required to produce a photo identity card along with the UPPSC PCS Admit Card print. In failing to do so, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
A valid photo identity proof for the identification purpose may be among aadhar card, driving license, voter ID Card, Pan Card, Passport, etc.
