This advertisement was regarding the vacant posts of Government Inter College (GIC) and Govt Girls Inter College (GGIC). The online application was active at the official website of UPPSC that continued till January 22, 2021.

Aspirants who clear the Prelims exam will further appear for the Mains examination. For that applicant have to fill up another application form. Thirteen times aspirant would be called for the mains examination on the basis of the preliminary exam. It means approximately 6,266 candidates will be allowed to participate in the mains test.

UPPSC GIC Lecturer Prelims Exam Pattern
- This test has a 2-hour duration which excludes the reporting time.
- The Prelims exam has two parts; one is the optional subject paper while the other is the general studies paper which might be common for all the aspirants.
- This exam carries 300 marks and there will be a total of 120 questions. Each question weighs 2.50 Marks.

- The UPPSC mains exam for Lecturer posts carries 400 marks.
- Apart from the optional subject, this paper consists of General Hindi and a detailed essay.
- The optional subject refers to the particular subject that the aspirant is willing to teach to the students after joining.

The UPPSC GIC Lecturer Exam Date is September 19, 2021 for the prelims test. Further, the main test will be conducted later.
The UPPSC GIC Lecturer Exam Admit Card 2021 will be made available about two weeks before the exam date. All important details such as the exam center, candidate name, paper timing, etc shall be available on the call letter.

What nonsense !! Examination centres are allotted too far just imagine 500 km away from home. I lived in Agra, the centre allotted to me is VARANASI ….. DUMB AND NONSENSE PEOPLE ARE IN SEATED IN UPPSC COMMITTEE.
