Yogi Adityanath’s Uttar Pradesh Govt is going to provide a big chance soon for youngsters who aspire to become accountants. In fact, the state government is soon going to recruit more than 8000 Lekhpal posts. The Lekhpal is the Hindi word for accountant which is much streamlined across Uttar Pradesh state.
Accountant/ UP Lekhpal recruitment Examination will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) this time. Candidates appearing for the recruitment test will first have to pass the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET).
Last time, UP Lekhpal Bharti was notified during the year 2015-16 for thousands of UP Lekhpal vacancies. It received a huge response from all the districts and lakhs of candidates had applied the application form and enrolled in the recruitment drive.
Since then, it has been years but the new Lekhpal Recruitment Notification 2021 isn’t advertised yet. However, it’s expected to be out in the upcoming months before the elections.

UPSSSC had already stated that it would be mandatory for UP group C recruitments to pass PET. The accountant (Lekhpal) recruitment also comes under Group C so only those candidates will be able to apply UP Lekhpal Application Form 2021 who pass the UPSSSC PET first.
This is the sole reason, UPSSSC has received more than 20 Lakh applications for UP PET 2021 which is going to be tentatively held on August 20, 2021. UPSSSC PET Admit Card is going to be issued anytime soon.
Once UPSSSC finalizes the result for PET 2021, we may see the UP Govt issuing the Lekhpal Recruitment Notification 2021. It may happen before the elections as it may benefit the BJP Govt to attract the votes from unemployed youths.
Documents Required for UP Lekhpal Vacancy Notification 2021
Candidates should prepare documents before applying the form. Don’t be deprived of the application because of a certificate. According to media reports, there are some certificates or documents that can be sought. The most important of these is the 12th mark sheet. To apply, the candidate must have passed 12th from the recognized board or institution.
