TS SET Exam was held in two shifts i.e. Morning Shift (From 09.00 to 12.00) and the Evening Shift (02.00 to 05.00). The exam consisted of two papers and both were of MCQ type. Paper 1 was for 100 marks for 50 questions and Paper – 2 was for 200 marks for 100 questions. The candidates had to complete the paper within 180 minutes.

The minimum qualifying marks for the TS SET Exam is 35% for applicants in the reserved category such as Transgender, SC, OBC and PH and 40% overall for both papers.
