The most awaited exam of the Tamil Nadu State, The Group 4 & VOA Combined has been concluded on 24 July 2022. Previously, the Group 4 recruitment exam was conducted in 2019. The examination is conducted to fulfil 7301 vacancies advertised in group 4 services of the state administration.
A total of 22 lakh people have applied for the TNPSC Group 4 exam across Tamil Nadu. Of these, 12.67 lakh are females, 9.35 lakh are males and 131 are the third gender. This TNPSC had arranged a total of 7,689 centres across Tamil Nadu where the Group 4 exam took place.

The results for this group 4 exam is announced in the month of march after a wait of 8 months.

Part A – Tamil language Paper (100 Questions/150 Marks)
Part B – General Studies (75 Questions) + Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 Questions) (100 Questions/150 Marks)
- There were a total of 200 questions in both papers.
- Each Correct Answer Shall be awarded 1.5 marks.
- Candidates had 3 hours to solve the paper.
- Minimum Qualifying marks will be 90.
- The questions in Part-A will be set in Tamil only. The questions in Part B will be set both in Tamil and English.
TNPSC Group 4 Exam Merit List/ Select List
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates will be announced in the Commission’s website.
Candidates who score more than 90 marks will be considered for the Eligibility list. The cut-off score will decide the final selection of the candidates. The candidates whose names are displayed on the list need to upload all supporting documents in support of their selection.
TNPSC Group 4-VAO Exam Cut-Off Score
Since a candidate needs to score at least 90 marks to stand eligible for his/her name to be considered for the Tentative Eligible list, this score does not entitle one to be considered for the selection.
The Group 4 Exam Cut-Off Score could be a higher mark for each category. The cut-off score is evaluated after the fair consideration of multiple factors like a competition against advertised posts, level of question paper and a few more to say.
