The registration process for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2022) has started already. Recently, TN HSC were declared so the TNDTE and Anna University haven’t made students wait for the procedure to join the engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.
This year, education experts are predicting more admissions to engineering colleges due to the higher marks in Class 12 exams (thanks to the evaluation criteria) by students. Low course fees in the govt institutes and better campus placement in these engineering colleges are attracting the youth.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu has set up 51 TNEA facilitation centres throughout the state to ease the process of the TN B.E, B.Tech admissions. Based on the number of applications received, TNDTE will host 3 to 4 rounds of engineering counselling.

- TNEA 2022 Counselling for General Categories: 22 August to 14 October 2022
- TNEA Supplementary Counselling 2022: 15 to 16 October 2022

- End of Counseling – 18 October 2022
The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu has initiated the engineering programmes admission process in colleges affiliated with Anna University and the concerned departments. Anna University has started online TNEA registration for admission to B.E, B.Tech courses for the academic year 2022-22.
