The government of Tamil Nadu will release Rank List for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. Candidates who had submitted applications for the Admissions in Engineering courses in Government Institutes can now check the TNEA Rank List and appear for counselling.

TNDTE had invited the online applications for the Admissions in B.E, B.Tech Courses in the institutes of the state. It is said that more than 2.5 lakh students have submitted applications for admissions. There are more than 1.5 lakh seats for admissions in engineering courses in the state.

Most Technical Education Boards conduct the Entrance exam for admission purposes. But TNTDE decided to provide admissions based on a merit list instead of the Entrance Test.

The students whose names have been added to the first Rank List need to report to the concerned college and reserve seats for admission by submitting academic documents and paying the desired admission fee.

The Seat Allotment in the TNEA Rank List is given according to the cut-off marks. The final cut-off marks will be released by the TNEA upon completion of the Admissions.

The students who did not get seat allotment in the first list can wait for the second Rank List and Third Rank List. Once the admission process is completed by the TNTDE and TNEA, the candidates can contact the concerned colleges for the vacancy and can get admission on behalf of their application.
