Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Exams conducts the SSLC exams every year in March and April 2021. For the academic Session 2020-21, the board had announced the schedule and the exams were due in late March. But the exam got postponed because of rising Covid cases and then the board had to scrap the exams completely.
The board will award the marks based on previous class and internal assessment exams. The formula has already been discussed with the authorities and received a nod to go on. Also, the supreme court of India has ordered all the state boards to release class 10 Results in July itself.
Over 9 lakh students had enrolled on the board for the Class 10th board exams this year. The TN Board 10th Result 2021 for these students will be published online on the website www.tnresults.nic.in.
DGE TN Board SSLC Exam Result Details
Last year, the TN SSLC exams were cancelled due to the COVID19 outbreak and the results were calculated on the basis of their half-yearly and quarterly examinations. The Tamil Nadu Board did not release any merit list last year as well.

TN SSLC Result Status and Websites
For the cancelled papers, the board decided to promote students based on their performance in quarterly, half-yearly exams and attendance. About 80% weightage will be given to marks in quarterly and half-yearly assessment tests, 20% weightage will be given to attendance.
TN SSLC Results 2021 will be provided online at the websites www.dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. Students will need to enter the Date of Birth and registration number to check the TN SSLC Results online.
