Tamil Nadu Field Assistant Hall Ticket 2021 will be uploaded very soon on the official website because the TNEB Field Assistant (Trainee) Physical Test Date has been finalized by the department. Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation Limited which is also known as TANGEDCO will host the PET/PST for Field Assistant trainee vacancies.
An official physical test notice has been issued for the candidates who successfully applied the application form for this direct recruitment. TANGEDCO is a sub-unit of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board that conducts recruitment drives every year for jobs like Assistant Engineer, Assessor, Junior Assistant, and other vacancies.
Now, it’s time for the physical test to be conducted against the Field Assistant (Trainee) recruitment which is expected to be held in April 2021. There are a total of 2900 vacancies available under this recruitment drive that was advertised through the official notification during February 2021.
Earlier, this recruitment was released on March 19, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the registration process was affected and the corporation postponed the recruitment. As per the selection process, the merit list shall be crafted on the basis of marks obtained by the aspirant in the Physical Test and the Written Exam.

As the minimum educational qualification required to apply for these posts was ITI so the level of the question paper will be of the same level too. This objective type paper will be available in the English and Tamil languages except for the language-based sections. The TNEB OMR Based Test for Field Assistant posts will be conducted for 100 Marks and the duration of the exam is 2 Hours.

The centers for the online TNEB Field Assistant Physical Test will be updated on the TANGEDCO official website and will be sent to the candidates on their registered email id. The qualifiers of the physical test shall be invited to take part in the online exam. The TNEB reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of exam venues and to re-allot them to the candidates.
The intimation about the release of the TNEB Hall Ticket for the Field Assistant trainee physical exam shall be sent via e-mail to all the eligible candidates and the same will be accessible through the website as well. The use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited during the exam.
