SSB Head Constable Selection Process 2022

• Physical Test (PET/PST) is the first phase of the SSB HC (Min) Selection Procedure. It will be conducted for the candidates whose application form has been accepted.
• Candidates who pass the SSB Physical test will take part in the written exam which will be a common entrance test.
• On the basis of the written exam marks, candidates equal to 15 times the available posts, will be called to participate in the typing skill test.
• After the SSB Typing test on a computer, 3 times candidates will be invited for the verification of the documents and the certificates.
• The last steps involved in the SSB HC Ministerial Selection Process are Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME).

SSB Head Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) details

• Candidates who have paid the application fee on the time and whose application has been approved by SSB will take part in the Physical Efficiency Test at first.
• This test is of a qualifying nature which means no marks will be considered in the merit list of qualifying the PET and PST but candidates must pass these tests to stay enrolled in the recruitment process.
• SSB Head Constable PET 2021 has only a Racing event.

SSB HC Min Physical Standard Test (PST) Information

• Candidates who complete the race/run even within the given time will be able to take part in the SSB PST event.
• Same as PET, the PST also carries the qualifying nature. E.S.M Category aspirants are exempted from the PST.
• The candidate’s height and chest will be measured during the SSB Head Constable PST 2021.
• A minimum chest expansion (fulav) of 5 centimetres is required for every male candidate.

SSB Head Constable Written Exam Pattern/Syllabus 2022

SSB HC Ministerial Written Test is the most important part of recruitment. The final merit list will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the aspirant in the written examination.

There will be one single Common Entrance Test for the aspirants. Here is the list of topics you should prepare for.

Earlier, SSB used to conduct Two Papers but from now on, one single paper name SSB CET will be conducted for the head constable ministerial posts.

SSB HC Ministerial – Skill Test/Typing details

• A candidate can opt for only one language out of Hindi and English.
• On the basis of the written exam score, 15 candidates per post will be called for the SSB Head Constable Typing Test.
• Even if you have passed the written test, you may still not be called for the Computer Skill Test because the list is made category wise.
• The typing test will be conducted on a computer instead of the old-age typewriters.

SSB Head Constable: Documents Verification/Scrutiny

• After passing the SSB HC Ministerial Physical test, candidates will be invited for the scrutiny of the documents.
• In this phase, Head Constable aspirants need to show their original documents and certificates such as Academics Marksheets, Cast Certificate, Domicile, etc.
• If the documents don’t match the details provided in the application form or the SSB team finds any forged document, the candidature will be cancelled.

SSB Head Constable Medical Examination (DME/RME) Information

• The SSB Medical Test for Head Constable Ministerial posts will be conducted on the same day along with the documents verification.
• If you’re declared medically fit in DME, it doesn’t ensure the job guarantee. The final merit list is to be created purely on the basis of the Common Eligibility Test (Written Exam) only.
• If you’re declared unfit in the DME, you can write a letter on the very same day and request for a review/another medical test.
• Review Medical Examination (RME) will be final and there won’t be any further acceptable requests.
