The examination will be conducted from 17 to 20 December 2022. The bank authorities will release the SBI PO Admit Card for the Prelims Test on the official website.

Every year, a large number of candidates who are looking for jobs in the bank sector appear in the SBI Exams for Probationary Officers. Qualified candidates have to go through various stages of examination before selection. The authority issues admit cards for different stages like Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test separately.
SBI PO Examination Scheme – Paper Pattern
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process:
- Preliminary Examination consisting of an Objective Test for 100 marks.
- The test will be conducted online.
- Each question will be of 1 mark.
- The exam will be a total of 100 marks.
- The test will have 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test. Candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of a total of 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 marks.
