REET Cancelled Level 2 Exam to be re-conducted with increased vacancies

REET 2021 Cancelled – Level 2 Examination to be re-conducted. A total of 62,000 Teacher Vacancies are to be filled up on the basis of REET Level II score.

The Rajasthan government has cancelled the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers due to pressure from the opposition over the paper leak row. Chief Minister of Rajasthan State, Mr Ashok Gehlot announced the cancellation of the REET Level 2 Examination 2021. He also informed that the Level 2 teacher recruitment exam will be re-conducted.

Due to the REET paper leak incident, there was a demand to cancel the recruitment examination. The state government was also under pressure to conduct a CBI probe into the matter. In such a situation, the Chief Minister decided to cancel this REET Level 2 Paper in a meeting held on February 07, 2022.

Vacancies Increased

The number is vacancies is also being increased. The number of teaching posts under Level 1 and Level 2 together were 32 thousand earlier. Now 30,000 more vacancies will be filled up on the basis of REET Result.

A total of 62 thousand teaching posts in Rajasthan shall be filled up on the basis of this exam. The government will soon announce the schedule for the cancelled exam. REET Answer Key was issued within a month of the exam date.

REET Level 2 Exam Cancelled after the Paper Leak

The Level II Exam held in September 2021. As soon as the news of the paper leak came, an investigation was carried out at the bottom. According to the SIT report, more than 300 people were involved in the paper leak case who are behind the bars now. REET Admit Card will be issued afresh for Level II aspirants according to the new exam date.
