Lakhs of eligible candidates were waiting for the REET announcement for years. The board has announced that the Government will announce the recruitment of 31000 posts of Grade 3 Teachers based on the REET 2021. Previously, the REET exam was conducted in 2017-2018 in which more than 10 lakh applicants had participated.

This year, the Rajasthan Education Board has received more than 16 Lakh applications for REET 2021. Paper 1 and paper 2 have seen 3 Lakh applications each while there are more than 9 Lakh candidates for a Combination of paper 1 and paper 2 together.

REET Admit Card 2021 Complete Details

The candidates shall be allowed to download and take print of the admit card online. Rajasthan Education Board (Conducting Authority) will not send the admit card by post to the postal address of the candidates.

Candidates should also note that the exam will be conducted only in Rajasthan. The candidates from outside Rajasthan need to appear in the exam at the allotted exam centre only.

About REET 2021

REET is a Teaching Eligibility Test which is necessary to be conducted every year according to guidelines of NCTE. Earlier the Rajasthan Education Board Conducted this Exam as RTET twice. Later on, the examination is renamed REET Exam. Rajasthan Board has conducted REET twice so far.

This year, REET is being conducted for the 3rd Grade teacher recruitment. A total of 31000 vacancies are expected to be notified by the Education Department.

Paper 1 – REET Paper 1 is conducted for the candidates who hold the eligibility for Class 1 to 5. This exam is known as Primary Teacher Exam.

Paper 2 –  REET Paper 2 is for the candidates for Class 6 to 8. This paper is known as Upper Primary or Elementary Teacher Exam.

Application Verification

At the very first stage after application submission, the Raj Edu board will validate the applications received online during the application window period. The board will intimate the candidates who have discrepancies in their applications to edit the applications before a final call the exam. The board will also release the rejection list of the candidates along with the reason for the rejection.

Roll Number & Exam Centre allotment

After that, the board will allot the Roll Numbers and assign the Exam centres accordingly. Candidates will be able to download the REET Admit Card by logging in to the official website. The Admit Card download link is activated at least 10 days prior to the examination date. Candidates need to produce the REET Admit Card 2021 in the examination hall.

Along with the admit card, the candidates must bring a Valid Photo ID card. Also, a recent passport size photo should be affixed in the given space on the admit card. The thumb impression should be pasted in the presence of an exam invigilator only.

A candidate can bring any of the documents written below to the exam hall to show as a valid photo ID.

Note: Aadhaar Card Enrollment Slip and Ration Card are not considered valid ID Cards.

One must bring a Photo ID in original and a photocopy of the same. The exam invigilator will ask for your Photo ID and Admit Card for the verification of the candidate’s legitimacy.

Advisory for REET Admit Card & Exam

Candidates must bring the ADMIT CARD with them on the day of examination along with valid identification proof (Driving License/Voter Id/Aadhar Card/PAN card/Passport/any other Government recognized photo identification).

Candidate must paste their recent passport size photograph in the space provided in the Admit Card. The candidate should retain the REET ADMIT CARD till the final stage of the selection process is over.

The candidate should enter the Examination Hall at least twenty (20) minutes before the prescribed time for commencement of the Examination and get seated immediately according to Roll Number.

Paper Pattern for REET 2021

The REET exam will be held on 20 June 2021 in two shifts. The REET Paper-I will take place from 10:00 is to 12:30 PM and while Level 2 from 2:30 to 5:00 PM. Candidates will get 150 minutes to complete the paper.
