Free Coaching for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment Aspirants

Punjab State Govt has started a free coaching program for the aspirants of Punjab Police Bharti. Under this initiative, the aspirants will be trained by experts for the Physical Test. The Physical Screen Test for Punjab Police Constables consists of the 3 physical trial events which are 1600 Metre Race, Long Jump, and High Jump. The parameters and the timing to complete them varies for General, ESM, and Female aspirants.

₹ 10,300- 34,800 + Grade Pay ₹ 3,200/-, and other allowances as admissible.

About 20% of these posts are reserved for candidates coming from SC, ST, or Tribe category. Nearly 13% of posts are reserved for BC candidates. In last, about 10% of seats are under the Ex-Serviceman quota.

Minimum class 12th pass is required for these vacancies. Candidate must be Class 12th qualified from a recognized state or national level education board.

Candidates from any Indian state can apply for these posts. But there is a catch, you must have a Punjabi subject in your Matriculation.

The candidates will be selected through various phases as listed below:

1. Written Test
2. PST (Physical Standard Test).
3. PET (Physical Efficiency Test).

As of January 1, 2021, the candidate must have the age between 18 to 28 years. The applicants from SC, ST, Tribe, BC category are qualified for 5 years exemption in the upper age limit i.e the maximum age for such candidates is 32 years. The upper age relaxation for E.S.M candidates is 3 years.

The interested candidates need to pay the recruitment charges as per his/her category. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the fee. These charges are non-refundable and can be paid online or offline mode, as you prefer.
