Finally, the Punjab Police has begun the recruitment for the Police Constables. The recruitment was long-awaited and the youth of Punjab was eager to apply for the Punjab Police Recruitment. The recruitment for 4358 vacancies of Constable (Hawaldar) has been announced. The last date to apply online for recruitment is 22 August 2021.

The selection of the candidates will be decided after the multiple phases of the recruitment. In the very first phase, the written examination will take place. The candidates need to qualify for the second phase of the recruitment by scoring at least 30% marks in the written examination.

Written Exam Schedule: Punjab Police Written Exam Date will be intimated through email and SMS communication by the department. As of now, the exam is scheduled to take place on 25 and 26 September. As we are aware of the recruitment for Constables in Punjab Police is in full swing. The recruitment for 4358 Police Constables is announced for the District Cadre and Armed Cadre. The vacancy distribution is as below

  • District Police Cadre: 2015
  • Armed Police Cadre: 2343

The candidates who submit the online applications successfully will be invited to take part in the Written Examination. Only the candidates who score the qualifying marks in the written test will be called up for the Physical Test. General candidates need to secure 30% marks in the exam while candidates belonging to the scheduled cast will be qualifying with a score of 25% Marks. The examination details are provided below.

  • There shall be 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Each question shall carry 1 mark.

Punjab Police Admit Card 2021 Instructions

Each candidate shall be issued the Punjab Police Admit Card 2021 indicating the specific date, time and venue for the candidate’s OMR based Written test. The candidate is required to download the Admit Card and bring a hard copy (printout) of the same, along with any one prescribed Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Indian Driving Licence, PAN card, Voter Identity card, Indian Passport), for entry to the venue of the Written Test.

If a candidate fails to provide any of the documents (Admit Card and ID Card), one may be stopped from appearing in the written exam with immediate impact. Therefore, the candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the Punjab Police Admit Card properly on a4 size paper.
