The Subordinate Service Selection Board of Punjab (PSSSB) has conducted the written examination for the Land Revenue Patwari, Zilladar, and other Recruitment. The examination is conducted at all district headquarters and other cities of the Punjab State including Chandigarh.

The Board had prepared 579 examination centres across the state for 2,33,200 candidates. The examination witnessed a 70 per cent attendance at most of the examination centres. The written examination is conducted on OMR sheets in offline mode.

Recruitment for 1152 vacancies of Patwari, Zilladar, and Irrigation Booking Clerk was announced early in 2021. The written examination for the recruitment was supposed to take place in May 2021 but the Covid19’s second wave hit India early in April and Board was forced to cancel the examination. The examinations across the country were being deferred and so was the Patwari Exam.

Once the situation got under control, the board decided to conduct the examination on 08 May and locked the future and hope of candidates in OMR Sheets.
