The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has completed the online application submission process for the Village Development Organiser (VDO) / Gram Sevak vacancies. The candidates are in wait for the publication of the Punjab VDO Admit Card by the board.
The board will conduct this examination to recruit 792 candidates for the post of VDO/Gram Sevak in the state Rural and Panchayat Departments. The selection of all candidates will be done on the basis of the written examination. The board completed the online application process in June 2022.
The written examination scheduled for 8 January has been postponed till further notice.
As per the examination notification released by the board, it will release the SSSB Punjab VDO Admit Card on its official website in the upcoming days. Applicants can visit the board’s website and download the document with the help of details they have submitted during the online application process.

Punjab Village Development Officer Selection Process
The examination authority will call all eligible candidates to appear in the selection process of Punjab VDO very soon. The candidates will be first summoned to appear in the Written Examination and then the candidates will be called to appear in the Counselling session. This session will also include the document verification process for the candidates.

SSSB Punjab VDO Admit Card Important Details
It is mandatory for all candidates to know the norms and conditions of the examination authority before attending the written test. The board will not allow those candidates to enter the exam center without proper documentation.
The Punjab SSSB Gram Sevak Admit Card is on priority among all documents. The applicants will be asked to show these documents before or during the test. If the details of the candidate are given on admit card, ID proof, and attendance sheet then the board official will not let that candidate sit for the test.
How to download the PSSSB VDO Admit Card?
- The candidates will first need to open the official website of the SSSB Punjab at sssb.punjab.gov.in.
- After that, the candidates will find the website’s Home page in front of them.
- Now you need to the website’s menu bar and click on the “Admit Cards” link.
- In that section, the board has listed all released admit cards.
- Now find a link labelled as Punjab SSSB VDO Admit Card.
- Then download it by entering the candidate’s online application credentials.
- Now you are good to save and take out a printout of it.
- Bring this printout to the exam centre.
