Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducted the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The OTET 2nd took place on 1 July 2023 at various exam centres across the state. This exam is conducted for the eligibility of Primary and Secondary School Teachers aspirants in Odisha State. As per the updates, the exam was held at 150+ venues in Odisha State.

The OTET Exam was conducted in two shifts for the Primary and Upper Primary levels. The exam for the primary level was held from 08:00 AM to 10:30 AM and the exam for Upper Primary Level was held from 12:00 PM to 02:30 PM.
Both papers were held through offline mode and carried MCQs type questions. There were a total no. of 150 questions and each for 1 mark. No negative marking was there. The time duration was for 2.5 hours. Questions were asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language –, Language – II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
