Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission has conducted the written exam for the CRE 2023 (Panchayat Executive Officer and Junior Assistant) posts. Recruitment for the Junior Assistant and Panchayat Executive Officers in the District Cadre of Odisha state was announced in February 2023. As recruitment is being conducted on a regular basis, applications received against this are higher in number compared to other recruitments in the state. It is stated that more than 3 lakh candidates had submitted applications for the Combined Recruitment Exam 2023.
This is the reason the commission had to arrange examination centres in all districts and conducted the exam in two sittings.
The Odisha RI examination is conducted in Offline mode on OMR Sheets. A few highlights of the examination are as follows
- The written examination was an offline exam based on the OMR sheet.
- The examination shall be 180 Marks.
- The exam had one paper carrying 180 Objective Type Questions
- Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.
- Candidates were given 3 hours to solve the question paper.
- There shall be a negative marking pattern and 1/4th mark would be deducted for each incorrect answer.
