The preliminary Examination for the Odisha Civil Services (OAS) has been conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission. The prelims exam has been conducted on 16 October at various examination centres in Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack.
Now, the OPSC commission has announced the Odisha State OCS Result for the preliminary examination online. The candidates who secured qualifying marks in the preliminary exam need to participate in the Main examination which is scheduled for later this year.
Once the evaluation of the answer sheets is completed, the Commission will publish the OPSC OCS/OAS Result online on the official website www.opsc.gov.in.

Odisha Civil Service Exam was announced in February 2021 for 405 posts in Group A and Group B Services in Odisha State. More than 70000 candidates had submitted online applications for the Preliminary Examination where more than 8000 applications got rejected for various reasons.
The preliminary examination had two papers and candidates will get their paper 2 evaluated first. Only the candidates who secure 33% marks in paper 2 will get their paper 1 evaluated. As both of the papers are based on General Studies, the cut-off for the preliminary examination is likely to remain high.
The selection of the candidates will be placed in the following services.

- Odisha Police Service (OPS)
- Odisha Finance Service (OFS)
Group B
- Odisha Cooperative Societies (ARCS/ ARGS)
- Odisha Revenue Service (ORS)
- Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service
OPSC Expected Cut off 2022 of Preliminary Exam
The cut-off score is considered to decide the qualification of a candidate for the further phases of the recruitment. A candidate scoring marks over the cutoff marks are added to the list by the commission.
The cut-off score is decided category-wise keeping various factors in consideration like the number of vacancies, the competition level of the questions and a few more.
Expected cut off score for each category for both male and female has been added in the table below.

OCS/ OAS Result Status
The result of the OCS/ OAS preliminary exam is not published yet. Before announcing the results, the commission will opt for the answer key process where participants take part in the objection representations.
The commission will prepare the final answer key and then evaluate the results based on the final answer key.
