Recently, in February 2023, Assistant Section Officer vacancies were advertised publicly by the High Court of Odisha State. A total of 199 ASO vacancies were notified for the graduate candidates. The registration process for OHC ASO Exam ended in March 2023.
Important Exam Update: Preliminary Exam for ASO will be conducted on 16 April 2023 while Computer Test for Steno on 15 April 2023. Candidates will be asked to submit their examination centre choices at least a month before the exam date.

The Assistant Section Officers in Odisha High Court will be recruited on the basis of the marks obtained in the different rounds such as the Preliminary Exam, Written Test, Computer Skill Test, and the personal interview. Odisha High Court ASO Exam Pattern 2023
The Preliminary Test carries 150 Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers for 150 Marks i.e 1 Mark for each of the questions. The duration of the ASO Prelim exam is 2 Hours. There will be sections like General English, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The negative marking of 0.50 Marks per incorrect answer is applicable to the ASO examination. The minimum qualifying marks are 33% for SC, ST candidates while 40% for all other categories.
