Odisha Prisons Recruitment Board, Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Service has recently issued a notification inviting online applications for the post of Jail Warder to fill up 403 vacancies. The last date for submitting the application is 13th November 2022.
To get appointed in the post, the aspirants need to qualify in the physical test and compete in a written examination conducted in Computer-based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode.

Announcement on Date of Exam
The date of the Written exam has been announced by the Recruitment Board. The exam will be conducted from 22 December to 26 December as a computer-based test. The venue of the examination is provided on the admit card.

The Recruitment Board has advertised the vacancy of 403 posts of Jail Warder for 5 prison Circles of Odisha. For the details on category-wise and the circle-wise breakup of the total number of posts, please refer to Page No. 4 of the notification.
Selection Process
Stage I – Computer Based Recruitment Examination on General English, Odia Language, General studies including computer knowledge.
Stage II – Measurement of physical standards and Physical Efficiency Test which is qualifying in nature.

- On the home page, click on Apply Online.
- Use the login option and enter login details.
- Fill in the credentials required, such as Registration Number, Date of Birth etc.,
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Check the admit card properly and take a printout.
