The National Testing Agency conducted the examination for Junior Assistant Cum Typist posts advertised for IGNOU. This exam was conducted to fill a total no. of 200 posts. The IGNOU JAT Exam took place on 31 July 2023. The CBT was conducted across the nation at major examination centres.
The Junior Assistant cum Typist posts will be filled up at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. The IGNOU JAT Exam was held through online mode. The exam was divided into 5 sections. Each section carried 30 questions for 30 marks. Candidates were given a time duration of 2 hours to complete the exam. The question paper language was English and Hindi. Questions were asked from General Knowledge, Reasoning and General Intelligence, Mathematical Abilities, English/ Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge Module.

IGNOU JAT Cut-Off Marks
Cut-off marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for any exam. These marks are decided by the exam conducting authorities and it depends on various factors such as the number of vacancies released, and the difficulty. The cutoff marks will level of the exam, the number of participants, and the minimum marks obtained by each candidate belonging to different categories.
The IGNOU NTA will also release a category-wise cutoff marks list along with the IGNOU JAT Results 2023. The candidates who are unable to clear the minimum cut-off marks criteria will be disqualified.
