JNVST Class 6 Exam 2021 Postponed: The entrance examination for admission to Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI has been postponed once again. The JNVST entrance examination was scheduled to be held on May 16 for all states and union territories (UTs) except Mizoram, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
For the remaining three states, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 19, 2021. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has postponed the entrance examination for admission to Class VI. JNVST Class VI Test is conducted as an all India level entrance examination for admission to Class VI in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.
According to an official statement, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Test-2021 for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, which was scheduled for May 16 in all states and UT of the country except Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya, has been postponed due to administrative reasons. The new date of the examination will be released 15 days before the exam.
After passing the class VI examination JNVST, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo document verification from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Only after document verification, shortlisted candidates can secure admission to JNV.

- The admission test will be of an objective type.
- There will be four subjects in the test and it is compulsory to pass each of the subjects.
- The question paper will be of total 100 marks.
- The test will be 120 in duration and there won’t be any negative marking.
This is the second time that the JNVST class 6 exam has been postponed. Earlier, the entrance exam was scheduled for April 10, which was postponed to May 16, 2021, but has now this has been postponed further to an undisclosed date.
