State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (mahacet) is going to conduct the Computer-Based Test for the MHT CET 2023. MHT CET is an entrance test for students looking to get admission to Undergraduate courses in Engineering. MHT CET is conducted every year for admissions in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Agriculture Courses.
More than 5 lakh students take part in the examination every year and this year too the number has crossed the mark. The students who qualify CET exam are eligible to get admission into various leading institutes of the state.

CET cell will conduct the Entrance examination in online mode only. The candidates are aware of that very well as it was mentioned in the notification clearly. The examination will be conducted group-wise as the students of PCB and PCB have been added to their respective groups.
There shall be two shifts of the examination and more than 5 lakh candidates will take part in the examination. The MAHACET Cell has arranged the examination centres in the states of Maharashtra and Goa as well.

- Each question shall carry 1 mark for the correct answer in Paper II and Paper III while 2 marks for Paper I (Mathematics).
- There shall be 90 minutes for each paper to solve the paper.
- There will not be any negative markings in the examination.
Note: The level of Mathematics, physics, and chemistry will be of JEE Main while the Biology paper is on par with NEET.
MHT CET Admit Card/ Hall Ticket Details
The students appearing for the MHT CET 2023 need to download and take a printout of the MHT CET 2023 Admit Card. MAHACET cell has issued the Admit Card at least 7 days before the examination online. Candidates should note that the hall tickets will not be sent by Post to the postal address of an applicant. Thus, one has to download and print the CET Admit Card only.
It is also advisable to carry a valid ID card along with the admit card. The candidates will have to show their ID card and MHT CET Hall Ticket while appearing for the examination. Candidates without an ID card will be barred from appearing in the MHT CET 2023.
Officer on official letterhead along with photograph / Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph / recent Identity Card issued by a recognized School / College/ Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar Card print with a photograph should be shown to the invigilator for verification.
