Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has finished the examination process for the recruitment of posts such as Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO), Grade – II (Technical) i.e. JIO-II/ Tech in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) under General Central Service & Group C. Through this exam the selected candidates will get an opportunity to work with India’s one of the very reputed intelligence team named Intelligence Bureau. IB JIO Exam took place on 22 July 2023.
The MHA initiated the recruitment process to fill a total no. of 797 posts. Now, as the examination has been over, then it is expected that the authorities will release the JIO Result very soon that is in the month of September 2023 (tentatively). The candidates who appeared in this exam can check their IB JIO Result on the official portal by just entering their registration number and password.

The IB JIO examination process comprised three tiers in total. Recently Tier – I was held. In this, an Objective Type Paper was conducted. It carried 100 no. of questions. The questions were asked from General Mental Ability and a Combination of subjects as per the essential qualifications. There was a total no. of 100 questions. The time duration was of 2 hours. A negative marking of ¼ marks was also there.
Selected candidates in Tier – I will be further asked to appear for the Tier-II process. Tier – II Examination will be of Skill Test. This will be practical-based and technical in nature. This will be commensurate with the job profile. This will carry 30 questions. The time duration will be of 2 hours.

The IB JIO Result is going to be released on the official portal. Candidates, who want to check their results, must be aware of the process of checking the result. The result can be checked by following the simple steps mentioned below.
- Visit the official website of MHA i.e. www.mha.gov.in.
- Locate and click on the link indicating “IB JIO Result”.
- Now, enter your roll no. or registration number and password or date of birth.
- Click on the “Submit” key.
- Your IB JIO Result will appear on the screen.
- Download and print your result for future reference.
