The wait for Maha TET is over now Maharashtra State Council of Examination Pune has started the application process for Maha TET 2021. The to be Teacher candidates were waiting for more than 2 years for TET Exam. Previously, the exam was conducted in 2019. This time, more than 1 million candidates are expected to take part in the teaching eligibility test.

Exam Date Change Notice: Written Exam Date for Mahatet has been changed and now the exam will be commenced on 31 October 2021. A notification has been released by the official in this regard.

It is mandatory for the school education boards in India to conduct the Teachers Eligibility Test at least up to Class 8 as per the NCTE Guidelines, The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

MSCE Pune conducts the MahaTET for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8 Groups. Paper 1 is conducted for Classes 1-5 as a primary teacher and paper 2 for Upper Primary Teachers of Class 6-8.

Mahatet 2021 Exam Date Update: MSCE will organize the Maha TET 2021 on 31 October 2021 in two shifts across the state. The exam for both of the papers will be conducted on same at all exam centres.

Candidates appearing for the Mahatet 2021 will get Maha TET Admit Card/ Hall Tickets online as the MSCE will not send the admit card by post. The candidates need to download and take a print of the admit card of the concerned paper only. The candidates who have opted for both of the papers need to download the Hall Ticket separately.

The link to download the Mahatet Hall Ticket will be provided at least 10 days before the date of examination. The candidates can download the same by entering their TET Registration ID and Password.

It is mandatory for the candidates to follow all the instructions and guidelines released by the Board. Candidates found breaching the norms will face disciplinary action and their candidature will be cancelled accordingly as well.

Concerned candidates are advised to bring a valid photo id card and the online printed admit card while appearing for the examination. Both of the documents will be verified while taking entry to the examination hall. A candidate failing to show any of these two will be barred from entering and would not be allowed to participate in the TET exam.

Maha TET Exam Details: Paper Patter & Examination Scheme

The candidates preparing for MAHATET 2021 exam must be aware of the exam pattern. It enhances their chances to achieve better in the exam. Here, we are providing all the necessary details on the exam scheme and paper pattern on Mahatet 2021 for both of the papers.

  • The number of questions: A total of 150 questions.
  • A total of 150 marks are distributed in paper 1 and paper 2 of the MAHA TET exam.
  • Multiple choice objective type questions are asked in the paper 1 and paper 2 exams.
  • The total duration of the paper 1 exam is 2:30 hours
  • MAHA TET 2021 exam will be conducted in two languages which are Marathi and English
  • Paper 1 of the MAHATET exam is conducted in offline mode (pen-paper based)
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be distributed for each correct answer and there is no negative marking scheme in the paper 1 and paper 2 exam
