Maharashtra Police had conducted the written examination for the police constable post in October on various occasions as per the district and unit wise. Now, the department has been releasing the results for the same. The links for all four units are added below. The candidates can click the concerned unit link to check the Constable Exam Result.

Maharashtra Police had announced the recruitment for 3450 Posts of Police constables in 2019. The written exam was supposed to be conducted by the Mahapariksha. But in March 2020, the then CM of Maharashtra scrapped the Mahapariksha Portal and the Police Bharti went on to hold. After that, there was no news regarding the examination any other details.

Now, it is being said that the Police Department will commence the recruitment from where Mahapriksha had left. The online application submission process was completed by then and the data has been transferred to the Police Department.

Maha Police Constable Bharti Rules

The Maharashtra Police Department had changed the recruitment rules in 2019. As per the changes, now a candidate will appear for the written exam first. Upon qualifying, the candidates will be called for the physical test in a ratio of 1:10. This means if the vacancy is announced for 3000 posts, candidates in 10 times i.e. 30000 will be called up for the physical test.

Although the qualification list will be created category-wise and candidates belonging to backward and scheduled casts will need to score 33% marks to stand qualified for the next stage.

The Physical Test will be conducted of 50 Marks. The male and female candidates will have different criteria for the Test. There are three events in the physical test a candidate need to take part in. A candidate needs to score passing marks in each event.

Selection Procedure: 

Written Exam: The Portal will conduct a computer-based online test in the first phase. The candidates qualifying for the CBT will be called up for the next stage.

Physical Test: The candidates who are declared qualified in the written exam will appear for the Physical Test. The test will contain two parts i.e. Physical Measurement Test, and Physical Endurance Test or Fitness Test.

Medical Test and Documents Verification: In the next and final stage, the candidates will have to go through the Medical Test and appear for Documents Verification.

The candidates who have submitted the successful applications will be allowed to take part in the written examination. The marks of the written examination will be added to the Merit List for the selection along with the physical Test Marks. The Pattern of the written examination is provided below.

It is mandatory for the candidates to download the Police Bharti Admit Card/ Hall Ticket and take a print of the same as the Department will not send the same by post.

Along with the admit card, candidates shall carry a photo ID card while participating in the exam. ID and Admit Card shall be checked while entering the exam hall and verified by the examiner as well.
