West Bengal Police State Recruitment Board (WBPRB) previously announced a recruitment notification to fill Constable posts in the police department of the Kolkata Police. In line with that notification, the board has recently conducted a preliminary examination for Police Constable posts.
The Kolkata Police Exam was conducted on 04 June 2023 at various examination centres. Both male & female candidates participated in a huge number. Now they all are eagerly looking for their Kolkata Police Exam Results. The results will be announced on the official website of the West Bengal police.
The examination was conducted for a total no. of 2266 posts for Male Constable and Lady Constable. The final selection of the candidates for these posts will be based on the Physical Test which will be conducted after the Written Exam. The admit card was released on 20 May 2023. The examination was held in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There were a total no. of 100 questions. Each question carried one mark. The question paper was set in 3 parts i.e. General Awareness and General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik Level) and Reasoning. A negative marking of ¼ marks was also there. The time duration was of 1 hour.
