About Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Exam: The Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE 2023) is the gateway for admission to various engineering and non-engineering courses offered by the private, self-financed and government institutions of Jharkhand. This state-level examination is organised by the JCECEB every year.
Through this exam, students get admission in B.E. or B.Tech courses in Jharkhand on 1550 seats. JEECE is conducted in English and Hindi languages accordingly. This examination is valid for admission in both private and government institutions across Jharkhand.

Jharkhand Polytechnic Merit List
For providing admission to various diploma courses, a merit list will be prepared. The merit list will consist of the candidate’s rank along with the secured marks and rank. If two or more students obtain the same marks in the exam, then the tie-breaking criteria will be considered. Check the below information for the tie-breaking criteria:
- In case marks are equal, then marks obtained in the Mathematics subject will be considered.
- In case the tie still exists, then the marks secured in Chemistry will be taken.
- After that, the date of birth of the candidates will be used to break the tie.
Jharkhand Polytechnic Counselling 2023
After the release of the result and merit list, the authority will organize counselling for successfully qualified candidates. The counselling process will be organized in different rounds through offline mode. Jharkhand Polytechnic Counselling will get started in the July-August months. Notice regarding the counselling schedule will be released on the website soon.
Candidates will have to report to the counselling venue on a specified date & time with the required documents to participate in the counselling process. Aspirants are required to bring the required documents in original along with attested photocopies for verification.
Students will get the JECE Result online mode from the website of the exam conducting authority. Results can be checked using exam roll number and date of birth. The merit list will be declared on the same after few days from the declaration of the result.
