Applications for the B.Ed Entrance Test were invited in April month. The Entrance test was scheduled to be conducted in June itself, but due to administrative reasons, the exam got delayed. Then again, the board offered applications for the candidates who could not apply earlier in September month.

Talking about the exam, the board conducted this exam as an OMR Exam at 6 district headquarters in the state named Ranchi, Bokaro, Dumka, Daltonganj, Dhanbad, and Jamshedpur. It is reported that the examination centres witnessed more than 75% attendance in the exam.
