According to Ireland’s official government website, the government wants to expand the population in its country so that the islands here can flourish. The Government of Ireland has brought a special scheme for the people. This scheme is part of the ‘Our Living Island’ policy in which 30 islands have been included.

When will the application start for Ireland ₹71 Lakh Scheme?

Ireland’s official government website states that people wishing to settle in any one of these 30 islands can apply for it from July 1. So if you are also interested in living on the island of Ireland, then you can register from 1 July 2023. The funds given under the scheme can be used for building works such as installing insulation, structural improvement and redevelopment.

There are many remote islands in the country that have become empty. These islands are not connected to the main country through any bridge. The government wants people to live here, and the policy aims to ensure that sustainable, vibrant communities can continue to live and thrive on offshore islands for many years to come.

What are the conditions for Ireland 71 Lakh Scheme?

1. According to the first condition, people settling in Ireland will first have to buy a property on one of the 30 offshore islands.
2. The second condition states that these properties should have been built before 1993 and should be vacant for at least two years.
3. According to the third condition, the Rs 71 lakh given by the government should be used for the maintenance of the purchased property. That is, you have to use this money to rebuild or repair the house.
4. You must invest as an individual or a couple not as a company.
5. You must also have your taxes in the order.

The purpose of this project is to use and restore the property left on the islands. Under the policy, if you plan to settle on the offshore islands of Ireland forever, then the government will give you $92,000 i.e., a total of 71 lakh rupees.
