The candidates who join the recruitment rally have to go through a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for which 100 marks have been fixed. Here is the breakdown of the marks for these tasks…
Marks for Race
|1600 Meters Race (Run)|
|5 Minutes 30 Seconds||60|
|5 Min 31 Sec to 45 Sec||48|
|5 Minutes 46 Seconds or more||Fail|
Candidates who complete the 1.6 km race in 5 minutes 30 seconds (Excellent Time). They are awarded 60 points for their excellence. On the other hand, 48 marks are given to youngsters who complete the race from 5 minutes 31 seconds to 5 minutes 45 seconds. Also, those who complete the race after 5 minutes 45 seconds are considered to have failed.
Marks for Pullups

Balancing and Long Jump
Balancing has qualifying nature in recruitment rallies. No points will be given for it but you must have passed this event. Also, if you succeed in a 9 feet long jump, you will not get any points. However, it needs to be successful too.
