Various events will be conducted at the district level headquarters in Himachal Pradesh to ensure the selection of eligible candidates in HP Police Constable Recruitment. Selection criteria consist of physical standards (weight, height), a Physical Screening Test (PST), a written exam, and a personal interview.

Three chances will be given for the High and long jump while there won’t be any additional chance if you failed in the race. Maximum 3 attempts are allowed to pass the high jump.

The written test will be conducted at districts level headquarters. Usually, the exam will be held on the same date for all districts. The duration of the examination will be 60 Minutes (1 Hour). Minimum qualifying marks for all the categories is 50% while the same for SC/ST category is 40% only.
