The State Examination Board, Gandhinagar, Gujarat has finished the preliminary exam process for the Teacher Aptitude Test (TAT) in Gujarat state. Gujarat HS TAT Exam took place on 06 August 2023 at various examination centres in Gujarat State.
Through this exam, the selected candidates will get an opportunity to become a teacher in Higher Secondary Schools whether Govt. or Aided by the Govt.

Selection Process
There will be 2 phases in total to select the candidate. These have been mentioned below
- Prelims Exam
- Main Exam
The Answer Key for the TAT exam has already been released by the Board. Now the results for this exam will be prepared according to the final key and published online. The results are expected to be released on 10 June 2023.
Candidates declared qualified in the Prelims Test will need to appear in the main exam. The main exam will be conducted on 18 June 2023.
Mains Exam Paper Pattern
Selected candidates in the prelims examination would be asked to sit for the mains examination. A complete overview of the mains exam has been given below.
- There will be two papers i.e. paper – 1 & 2.
- The paper will be in an objective type format.
- Each paper will carry 100 questions for 100 marks.
- Paper – 1 will be language-specific and paper – 2 will be subject-specific.
- Time duration for paper – 1 will be 150 minutes and for paper – 2 it will be 180 minutes.
