The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda conducts State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor posts every year. GUJ SET Exam Agency has conducted the 16th State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professors this year. The Competitive Examination was conducted on 06 Nov 2022 at various 11 examination centres in the state. A total of 30,075 candidates appeared in the examination on the respective date.

GSET Passing Marks – Gujarat SET Qualifying Marks

In order to be considered eligible for Gujarat State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC, ST, SEBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD (PH/VH) and Third gender.

Gujarat State Eligibility Test Certificate – Validity of Certificate

The exam agency will issue the GSET certificate to qualified candidates once the GSET 2022 result is declared. In this certificate, the details like the name of the candidate, category, marks obtained passing year etc. will be written.

The validity of the certificate will be for a lifetime whereas the candidate can appear in the examination any number of times to improve his/her marks. Aspirants will be able to download the GSET Certificate from the official website by filling up the essential details.
