Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India will conduct the computer-based test for the Probationary Officer Recruitment in the upcoming days. As per the schedule released previously, the exam is expected to take place on 29 May 2022.
The recruitment is initiated to fill 75 vacancies of the PO post in ECGC. The selection of this personnel will be decided after multiple stages of the tests. In the very first stage, the applicants will appear for the Online examination which will be an objective type examination.
As per the data available on the internet, more than 1 lakh candidates had participated in the previous exam of PO. Thus, we can expect the same or larger number of candidates this year too.
As the schedule for the examination is already announced, the candidates should know that they will need to download the ECGC PO Admit Card or Call Letter online to appear in the exam. A link to download the ECGC Admit Card 2022 will be available in the first week of May.

As we mentioned earlier, the selection of the candidates will be decided on their performance in the online examination. The exam is divided into two groups. One is the MCQ Objective type questions and the second is Descriptive Type.
At first, the candidates will participate in the MCQ exam which will carry 200 Questions. Once the MCQ is completed, the candidates will sit for the descriptive paper in the second shift at the same exam centre. The paper pattern for both parts has been added here.
MCQ Paper Pattern
- The Paper will carry 200 Questions.
- Each correct answer will be awarded 1 Mark.
- The paper will have 5 different sections. Candidates have to score qualifying marks in each section.
- The total time to solve the question paper would be 140 Minutes
Descriptive Paper Pattern
- There shall be two parts Essay Writing and Precise Writing.
- Each part will have two options. Candidates will have to write any one of them.
- Each part will be awarded a max of 20 Marks.
- Candidates will get 40 Minutes to complete the Descriptive Paper.
ECGC PO Admit Card Download Details & Exam Instructions
The candidates participating in the exam need to produce the ECGC Admit Card while entering the exam centre. Along with the admit card, they require to show a valid ID card as well. If a candidate fails to produce any of these two documents, his/her entry to the exam hall would be barred.

Downloading Steps for ECGC PO Exam
To download the Admit Card, the ECGC will activate the link in the first week of May 2022. The applicants will require a few steps to get admit card downloaded and printed for the exam.
- First, the candidates will open the website www.ecgc.in in a web browser.
- Then on the right sidebar, click Careers with ECGC.
- There, you will see Probationary Officer Call Letter Link.
- Enter the required details and log in to download the admit card.
