The ICSE exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 7, 2021. The decision was taken just two days after CBSE decided to postpone the Class 12th exams and cancel the 10th exams in the country due to the growing corona cases. CISCE has postponed class XII board examinations while making it optional for class 10th candidates to appear in the written test. In the first week of June, an announcement will be made about board examinations keeping in view the coronavirus data.
CBSE has recently announced the cancellation of the exams for 10th board candidates but ICSE Board has given students an opportunity to opt for the exam by not cancelling the examination. According to the ICSE Board, ‘fair criteria’ will be fixed by the Board for students who do not want to appear for papers.

According to the information issued by the Board, it would be optional for 10th standard students to appear for the examination. Students can appear for the written test later if they wish. If they don’t want to take the exam, the board will evaluate them accordingly. In addition, new exam dates for 12th class students will be announced in the first week of June.
