The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission is going to conduct the written test against various posts under Forest Services recruitment. Earlier, the commission had invited the applications for the posts of Assistant Conservator of Forest and Forest Ranger in the CG Forest Department.
This recruitment was advertised in June-July 2020 to fill up the vacancies in the Chhattisgarh Forest Department which have been vacant for a long time. Due to the Corona fear and the lockdown situation, the examination couldn’t be conducted timely. However, the situation is quite better now and we may expect the CG Forester Exam Date to be announced soon.
There are a total of 178 vacancies of Assistant Forest Conservator and Forest Ranger under this recruitment drive. It’s expected that the exam may take place during the February-March months. CG Forest Ranger Admit Card 2021 will be uploaded to the commission’s site about 2 weeks before the test day.

This examination has been postponed twice. Initially, the test was scheduled to be held on 13th September 2020 which got postponed to the next date Dec 20, 2020. Then, the commission again postponed the CG Forest Services Examination. The new exam date for CG Forest Ranger, ACF Test is yet to be announced.
Candidates will be notified through the local newspapers and the official website about the release of the examination schedule by CGPSC. First, there will be an offline written test with objective-type questions. Further, the physical test shall be conducted for the qualifiers of the written exam.

CGPSC Forest Services question paper will be bilingual i.e it will be available in Hindi and English. The duration of the exam is 300 Minutes i.e 2 Hours and 30 Minutes per paper. There will be a total of 300 Questions on paper 1 and paper 2 and each question carries 2 marks. Total 600 Marks are assigned for the examination.
