Panchayat & Rural Development Department of Assam (PNRD) had announced a recruitment for 1004 posts of Panchayat Secretary, Tax Collecter and other designations. The exam for this recruitment was supposed to get conducted in 2020 itself but due to Assembly Elections, the department deferred the examinations.

PNRD Assam Panchayat Secretary, Raod Mohrar Exam Details – Paper Pattern
The PNRD Recruitment Board will conduct a common competitive exam for all posts except for Gaon Panchayat Secretary. The candidates need to appear for the written exam scheduled by the authorities to stand eligible for the next stage of the recruitment. The written exam scheduled for Panchayat Secretary and other posts will be announced soon at the website www.rural.assam.gov.in.
The written test will be of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based. There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be a negative marking of 50% mark for each wrong answer. Candidates will use a black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet. The duration of the test will be of 2 (two) hours.
The questions will be set in three parts (i) Logical reasoning and aptitude. (ii) General knowledge with special emphasis on Assam (iii) General English. However, for the post of Gaon Panchayat Secretary, there will be an additional part on Accountancy.
PNRD Assam Admit Card 2023
The candidates will need to download and take print of the PNRD Assam Gaon Panchayat Secretary Admit card online as the examination board will not send the admit card by post. Thus, the candidates are advised to visit the website of the board to get their admit card downloaded.

Along with a photo ID card in original, a candidate must produce this online downloaded admit card in the exam hall. An admit card is an entry pass to the exam and it contains information regarding particulars.
