Directorate of Technical Education, Assam will conduct the Polytechnic Admission Test for the 2023-24 Sessions in the State. Earlier, the exam PAT is supposed to take place on 18 June 2023.
Every year, more than 2 lakh students willing to get admission in Polytechnic Diploma Courses of Engineering take part in the PAT. It is necessary for a student to participate in the PAT exam if one is looking to get admission to any Polytechnic institute in the State.

DTE Assam Polytechnic PAT Exam Details
The students who have secured at least 40 per cent marks in HSLC are eligible to take part in the exam.
An MCQ Offline exam will take place on in June 2023 at the selected centres of Mangaldoi, Tezpur, and all Government Polytechnic Institutes of the State. The Paper Pattern of the exam is given below.

Assam Polytechnic PAT Admit Card 2023
The Students should not that the DTE Assam board will not send the admit cards to the postal address of the candidates. Thus, the candidates have to visit the official website and download the admit card online. The candidates should take a printout of the ASSAM PAT Admi Card 2023 on A4 size paper. Along with the admit card, the candidates must bring a Valid Photo ID card.
To download Assam PAT Admit Card 2023, the students need to visit the website pat2023formfillup.dtecounselling.in and dte.aasam.gov.in. A complete guide is given below.
- Log on to www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on Online Application for PAT 2023. On the next page, click on “Applicant Login” situated in the top Menu bar, an Applicant Login Screen will appear. Sign in to your account using your ‘Application Number’ & your ‘Date of Birth’. You’ll be taken to the Applicant Login Page.
- Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ (available after admit issue date as above)
- Your Admit Card will be generated. You can now take the Print out of your ADMIT CARD.
